My first resolution this year was that i should blog everyday to give a direction to my thoughts.. but see the reality .. it is after 13 days that i am blogging.
Anyway better late than never..
From my last post to now.. lots have changed.. we have moved from old home to new home ( i donot like to call it ashram.. prefer the loving cuddly home).. the new one is more spacious.. will post the photos of both the sides.
want to blog so many things but donot have sufficient time now.. need to rush for the cab.. life is all about rushing out here but the best part is when inspite of all of this you can still do something of everything.. (what a paradox.. something of everything)..
donot have much time to type so will paste a story by mother Teresa . am quite impressed and has given my grey cells something to ponder about..
One night a man came to our house and told me, “There is a family with eight children. They have not eaten for days.”
I took some food with me and went. When I came to that family I saw the faces those little children disfigured by hunger. There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces, just the deep pain of hunger. I gave the rice to the mother. She divided it in two, and went out, carrying half the rice. When she came back, I asked her, “Where did you go?” She gave me this simple answer, “To my neighbors; they are hungry also.” I was not surprised that she gave – poor people are really very generous. I was surprised she knew they were hungry. As a rule when we are suffering, we are so focused on ourselves, we have no time for others.
So true.. all of us suffering.. but we are so focussed on ourselves and donot have time for others.. Srila Prabhupada ki jay.. Srila Acharyapada ki jay .. they have focussed on more taking time for others.. My Gurudev still inspite of his illness takes tiem to enquire about the welfare of others.
